The Group

Nationwide Specialist Services Group was formed in May 2018 following the merger of High Access Maintenance and Nationwide Window Cleaning.  The Group operates across the UK with over 300 staff. The NSS group specialise in Maintenance, Cleaning and Hire across the globe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a HR team which is currently established and for the creation of a recruitment department based in our Leeds Office. This is a brand new role to our organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You’ll spend most of your time independently partnering with key stakeholders in the business finding top quality talent for our organisation. The role will be working across the whole group sourcing talent for our Cleaning, Maintenance, Hire and Testing divisions.

NSS Cleaning – UK’s leading Window cleaning company

NSS Maintenance - UK’s Leading high level maintenance company

NSS Hire – UK’s leading access company

NSS Testing - Testing and Installations of live safety systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring approval process has been followed and supporting management though this process
  • Pre recruitment meetings and understand managers expectations on the skills required to fulfil the open role
  • Advertising roles through our ATS and tracking candidates applications
  • Conducting telephone interviews and assessing capabilities
  • Coordination of interviews, meeting rooms, manager’s diary etc.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn and other tools
  • Create a candidate pool for high volume roles
  • Support with F2F interviews when required
  • Candidate communication, managing offers and rejections
  • Creation of employment contracts and onboarding
  • Induction preparation for new starts
  • Recruitment MI reporting

  • Experience within an inhouse environment
  • Experience managing multiple recruitments (Nationally)
  • Proactive approach when sourcing candidates
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service

  • Work within a small team taking ownership of workload
